Graduate Assistant with SECAR

An FRIB graduate assistant works with the Separator for Capture Reactions (SECAR) in the reaccelerator (ReA3) area of the FRIB Laboratory. SECAR is a recoil separator that is optimized for measurements of capture reactions of importance for nuclear astrophysics. SECAR takes advantage of the ReA3 re-accelerator that provides unique radioactive beams at low astrophysical energies.
